Hello readers, I am Diksha Singh from GWDD , 2nd sem of Arena Animation, Park Street, writing my second blog to share my experience with you all and it’s been 6 months since I started my GWDD 2nd semester.  If you missed my first blog check in the link below:

My work has made an important contribution in my life. It has shaped me into a punctual and disciplined person. Within a few days i got addicted to my work. I have been a regular student in 2nd semester, but “honi ko kon taal sakta hai ?“. I was attacked by a health issue, and i was not allowed to work for long hours by the doctors. Since then each moment passed like a day. I was advised by doctor to take absolute rest for two weeks. Though i was very delighted that the case didn’t turned out to be a serious one but my conscience for my work was in equal proportions. I always used to think about my days at Pinocchio lab, which increased my urge to work and get well as soon as possible. I was missing my important classes, the lessons which were taught during the class premises. The most troubling thing was that, I was unable to get my work approvals, which is really important for me to get ahead with my course.

Within those two weeks, i realized the importance of my work. I was in touch with the regular activities taking place inside my room, through my batch mates , during my absence. During my illness, my mentor, Somanth Chakraborty Sir, was a supporting figure, and so were my batch mates. After a few days of rest i felt revived and my enthusiasm reached its zenith when i realized that i would be continuing with my work soon.

On the last day of my recovery i got acquainted with the fact that i can’t live without my work. Working gave me satisfaction and always keeps me away from the chaos of day to day life. I find peace in working. Moreover, I feel very relaxed and satisfied whenever i think that my decision of pursuing with this course is turning out to be the most fruitful one.

When I was at home during my illness, i use to plan about how to recover all the classes which i was missing, I made a planning sheet, and listed all the important things which was important for me to learn and complete. I became more determined and dedicated towards my class and career.

Conclusively, this was a bad experience which made me realize that how much my work means to me. Whenever i remember those days, it brings shiver down my spine.

Shebi Maurya, GWDD, 2nd Semester in Arena Animaion, Park Street.

Hello readers! I am Shebi Maurya, I had joined GWDD Course in Arena Animation, Park Street last year in the month of May. Its been almost one year, so I am writing this blog to share my experience with you all.

After my graduation my parents asked,“What Next?” At that moment I was totally blank. On the very next day I found a pamphlet at my door and guess what! It was of ARENA ANIMATION and after a week I started my course over there. Even though I had some knowledge about Graphics but I had no idea about Web Designing and Web Development.

In my First Semester I was under Sayani Mam. She is not only a good teacher but also a good person by heart. She taught us Graphics in a very interesting way. So like this my first Semester went very well.

During my first semester, I heard a lot of rumors about a sir name Somnath Chakraborty, who is going to take our second semester. One of the scariest rumor I heard about him was that many students left their course because of his strict nature. The first thought that came into my mind “Unlogo ki tarah kahi mai bhi…..?” but trust me guys as soon as I started my class with him, his image in my mind totally changed. He is truly a great teacher and a perfect guide. As the days passed, I became more serious in my course. Each new day we came through a new lesson. Sir has motivated me a lot and also improvised me. I did many monthly activities with my classmates which taught me new things and the importance of team work. I had attended monthly seminar conducted by our mentor Somnath Chakraborty sir. By word seminar many think boring ambience but in our case it was totally different, we gained knowledge and get motivated, but in a fun and entertaining way.

Wo Kehte hai na “Kuch Pane ke liye Kuch Khona Padhta Hai!” I am a type of girl who dislikes being at home especially on Sundays but I had to sacrifice those. Yes you read it correct! Previously every Sunday I used to go out to enjoy with my friends but now I rarely get time.

From attending resourceful seminars to meeting deadlines, I have tried and still trying my level best to do justice to my course. I have found myself very lucky to be part of GWDD family and getting a mentor like Somnath sir who has helped me in every aspect.

Hence joining GWDD course in Arena Animation, Park Street, is my correct choice.

“ Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi ”

diksha“ Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi….. ”

Hello readers, I am Diksha Singh from 2nd semester of Arena Animation, and it’s been 3 months since I started my GWDD 2nd Semester. I am writing this blog to share my experience with you all.

Life is a journey, Not a destination. We really can’t describe this journey by only one or two words .Ye “LIFE” na ek mixture hai.. . A mixture of happiness and sadness, success and failure , encouragement and frustration, relief and sorrow, and struggle and giving up. Now obviously life’s journey is not PERFECT, but is beautiful.

Everyone takes every step in a very unique way. Though this unique way results into something disastrous at times . Ye unique banne k chakkar mai we take bumpy roads. This is exactly what i did, after completing my B.Com final year. Without having full knowledge about a course i got myself admitted to GWDD course in Arena Animation Park Street. First 8 months were like “Makhann”(butter)- .

Fir 8 months k bad ek turn aya … jo tha hamara 2nd Semester. I was having a bit of idea about the faculty who was supposed to take our web classes but on the very first day of introduction class I realised and cursed myself for just having that so called “Bit of” knowledge. I entered in the class and wished my new teacher- SOMNATH SIR a very good morning, and then sat like a good girl in front of him on the chair. One by one everyone came in, all of us had some expression on our faces, but i noticed that SIR was sitting quietly on his chair with a pale face, and yes that was a “DARAWANA EXPRESSION”. Soon he began to take our introduction class. We all felt motivated and learnt that in “PINOCHIO LAB” seriousness is the only key to success ,or to be more precise ” The only way jo life mai hume kuch acha kar sakte hain “. The time was passing on but the introduction class was not ending. Me and my batch-mates were getting impatient and were talking to each other via expressions. The introduction class got over by 5 pm that day. We all got a trailer of our 8 months ahead journey after just one class.

Days came by and all of us who hardly stayed for 1.30 hours in a class, now started spending our whole day in this lab. In starting it was really hard to sit calmly at one place and work for the whole day. But gradually it became a habit for all of us. We all became family and it happened just because of our mentor Somnath Sir. The person who entered into our life as “HITLER”, taught us the real aspects of life.

He says ” he is rude, rowdy, rowdiest person”, and yes he might be the rowdiest person i ever faced in my life but, also he is the person who gave a meaning to this line “Haste-Haste kat jae Raste”. We have completed our 4 months journey sath mai  ” HASTE –HASTE “ and believe to spend the rest months likewise…

“Ek Chhoti Seminar Ki Keemat, Tum Kya Jano ….”

Sumi2

Sumaiya Rahman, GWDD(2nd Sem), Arena Animation, Park Street.

I am back again with another exciting experience on a seminar I attended recently. Here, the question is what’s so special about this one?

Now, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear seminar? Are they boring? Or monotonous ? Or fun to attend? Have you attended one? Did you like listening to the lecture for long hours( approx 6 hrs.), sitting idle, and seldom noting down two or three lines when required? Or saw people around you yawning while 50% escaped after a break? Share your seminar experiences with us in the comment section below and stay tuned to know why this seminar was unusual.

On 28th April, 2018, I, Sumaiya Rahman, GWDD 2nd Sem, attended my second seminar based on “skill -development and career guidelines”, the seminar that broke the stereotypes, that was full of fun and enjoyment, yet rich with much needed facts which even Google would fail to provide. The man behind it was none other than, our very own, SINGHAM (our mentor, Somnath Chakraborty Sir).

How dare he break the so called seminar rules? (hey.. don’t curse me, just keep reading..) How dare he make studies entertaining? How dare he to go out of the way to make his students understand the otherwise boring lessons? ARE these questions relevant? Rather, it should be “How COULD he inspire us in such a manner and show us a way deviated from the rat race?”

I remember sitting right in front and still laughing like it was stand-up comedy. Apparently it seemed that, with sir doing mimicry and advertisement videos playing on the screen. You must be thinking “why advertisement videos for web students?” We had the same question until we understood the reason. What those videos portrayed in few minutes, books, software and tools, menu options couldn’t teach us in the past 11 months. The light ambience was working and we were intensely lost in the seminar.

The seminar was an entertaining break from our otherwise usual everyday classes, charging up once again for the upcoming month. We were given a break in the middle for refreshment and again we boarded the train and moved on.

If I start speaking about what I learned then probably this will never end. But I would say one thing, my visions are clearer than before and now I know which track to choose as my career. My technical skills are sharpened and the frog is finally outside the well, waiting on the edges to explore the world. But the good that this seminar has done to me mentally cannot be expressed in words. It showed me my place and the road that I still have to walk, it taught me that a different perspective to see things is not crazy but unique and productive, it told me that finding out a problem is common and every other common man does that, finding a solution to the problem and executing will make me different from the crowd.

And now I know that I have to K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple, Stupid) my life, my target and my works and entertain myself by my skill, knowledge, passion, dedication etc. That’s why I always follow the below line:

“If you’ve entertainment and enjoyment in your home or vicinity, you’ll never look outside to seek happiness.”                                     – Somnath Chakraborty Sir.

If you’ve made it till here then thanks a lot to stay with me till the end. We’ll meet again, next month with more exciting experiences and surprises.
