My work has made an important contribution in my life. It has shaped me into a punctual and disciplined person. Within a few days i got addicted to my work. I have been a regular student in 2nd semester, but “honi ko kon taal sakta hai ?“. I was attacked by a health issue, and i was not allowed to work for long hours by the doctors. Since then each moment passed like a day. I was advised by doctor to take absolute rest for two weeks. Though i was very delighted that the case didn’t turned out to be a serious one but my conscience for my work was in equal proportions. I always used to think about my days at Pinocchio lab, which increased my urge to work and get well as soon as possible. I was missing my important classes, the lessons which were taught during the class premises. The most troubling thing was that, I was unable to get my work approvals, which is really important for me to get ahead with my course.

Within those two weeks, i realized the importance of my work. I was in touch with the regular activities taking place inside my room, through my batch mates , during my absence. During my illness, my mentor, Somanth Chakraborty Sir, was a supporting figure, and so were my batch mates. After a few days of rest i felt revived and my enthusiasm reached its zenith when i realized that i would be continuing with my work soon.

On the last day of my recovery i got acquainted with the fact that i can’t live without my work. Working gave me satisfaction and always keeps me away from the chaos of day to day life. I find peace in working. Moreover, I feel very relaxed and satisfied whenever i think that my decision of pursuing with this course is turning out to be the most fruitful one.

When I was at home during my illness, i use to plan about how to recover all the classes which i was missing, I made a planning sheet, and listed all the important things which was important for me to learn and complete. I became more determined and dedicated towards my class and career.

Conclusively, this was a bad experience which made me realize that how much my work means to me. Whenever i remember those days, it brings shiver down my spine.

Shebi Maurya, GWDD, 2nd Semester in Arena Animaion, Park Street.

Hello readers! I am Shebi Maurya, I had joined GWDD Course in Arena Animation, Park Street last year in the month of May. Its been almost one year, so I am writing this blog to share my experience with you all.

After my graduation my parents asked,“What Next?” At that moment I was totally blank. On the very next day I found a pamphlet at my door and guess what! It was of ARENA ANIMATION and after a week I started my course over there. Even though I had some knowledge about Graphics but I had no idea about Web Designing and Web Development.

In my First Semester I was under Sayani Mam. She is not only a good teacher but also a good person by heart. She taught us Graphics in a very interesting way. So like this my first Semester went very well.

During my first semester, I heard a lot of rumors about a sir name Somnath Chakraborty, who is going to take our second semester. One of the scariest rumor I heard about him was that many students left their course because of his strict nature. The first thought that came into my mind “Unlogo ki tarah kahi mai bhi…..?” but trust me guys as soon as I started my class with him, his image in my mind totally changed. He is truly a great teacher and a perfect guide. As the days passed, I became more serious in my course. Each new day we came through a new lesson. Sir has motivated me a lot and also improvised me. I did many monthly activities with my classmates which taught me new things and the importance of team work. I had attended monthly seminar conducted by our mentor Somnath Chakraborty sir. By word seminar many think boring ambience but in our case it was totally different, we gained knowledge and get motivated, but in a fun and entertaining way.

Wo Kehte hai na “Kuch Pane ke liye Kuch Khona Padhta Hai!” I am a type of girl who dislikes being at home especially on Sundays but I had to sacrifice those. Yes you read it correct! Previously every Sunday I used to go out to enjoy with my friends but now I rarely get time.

From attending resourceful seminars to meeting deadlines, I have tried and still trying my level best to do justice to my course. I have found myself very lucky to be part of GWDD family and getting a mentor like Somnath sir who has helped me in every aspect.

Hence joining GWDD course in Arena Animation, Park Street, is my correct choice.

Arindam Bhowmik, GWDD,2ND SEM ARENA ANIMATION,PARK STREET

Hello readers, I am Arindam Bhowmick and it’s been 3 months since I started my GWDD 2nd Sem. I am writing this blog to share my experience with you all. As I am passionate about web designing and development I joined GWDD course in Arena Animation, Park Street.

My experience in 1st  sem was moreover good and my sir was one of the finest teachers for graphics. Needless to say, I don’t think I can ever forget him. When I was at the end of 1st sem I heard lots of rumors like “You’re doing GWDD? Oh my God! Do you know that your teacher is very rude and arrogant?. When such rumors come to you, curiosity to meet the person is an obvious thing. I was like “What will happen next?”

The first class in 2nd sem was all about introduction and a productive one where we got information about our course duration, systems to be followed, and what we are going to learn. But I was still anxious to know “What now?”

The second class was a bit different that we didn’t expect. It was a surprise for us by seniors where they cheered us and shared their experience of Pinocchio Lab (our classroom). They made us feel special in their own way and I felt more comfortable in the room than before. Days passed by and also the rumors I heard. The classes were nothing like the rumors. Well, first lesson learned- Never trust rumors.

And thus, our team dedicated an article to the seniors, showing our love and gratitude through words.

With more and more number of classes I improved not only as a student but also as a human which helped me a lot in learning and my practical life where I was a game addict (Urgghh! I had to leave my games for this). I was so surprised to see that I could overcome the addiction (that was apparently an impossible challenge for me) and get back to real world. Now I know, game addiction was waste of my potential. I realized it’s easy to live in the comfort zone, with no passion, doing the same thing again and again while it’s hard to fight for your dreams to come true and surrender to success. That is what our life is meant for.

Most effective lesson I learned is to organize, whether it’s desktop or real life. I learned about my strength and weaknesses, my skills and loopholes (already started working on it) which is really helpful.

Only study and no recreation will not help you to achieve your goals. Thus, in GWDD I started different activities along with my other team members which is held every month where we work as a team to do something creative, enjoy and learn teamwork as we all know when ‘I’ is replaced by ‘WE’ even illness becomes wellness. Team work is unforgettable.

It’s really an amazing experience to attend monthly seminar conducted by our mentor, Somnath Chakraborty Sir. When we think of seminar we visualize some usual boring ambience. But in Pinocchio Lab it’s totally a unique experience I had. What’s your view about a seminar? Well, this seminar was full of fun and entertainment along with knowledge and facts not easily found in GOOGLE. This seminar helped me a lot to go through my skill development and confidence needed.

I am lucky to be a part of GWDD-family as every day is a new day where I learn new things and try my level best to be consistence. I have never seen a mentor like Somnath sir. He has always motivated us and gave us the spark to light the fire within us which ends up in the best productivity. Thus, training us for the industry and also practical or personal life.

Why Animation & Why APS?

Rajkumar Pan’s thoughts on the subject.

I choose Arena Animation Park Street because it has been producing the best animators. I am an entrepreneur (An Interior Designer). Working for many years, establishing myself. Now, I decided to make my dream come true.

Animation……A totally different culture. Culture that help us learn together, work together and finally to be together. When I decided to learn this subject, my first thought was that it is another computer based subject, working with software; but today after one and a half years my opinion has totally changed. Now I have learnt the value of working together, and the bonding in life.

Animation……An ocean of knowledge. When you are learning animation you have to gather knowledge about each and every single details of this universe i.e. Architecture, Interior Designer, Engineering, Space, Physics, Underwater, Nature, Sports and so on. So studying animation would be a great opportunity for those who really want to earn knowledge. It’s a world where perfection of your work makes you learn more and appeals to your audience.

Animation……It helps to discover the aesthetic value of everyday human life and togetherness. Not only these, it also helps you to grow and start up your career with a great opportunity in the up-growing Animation Industry.

So, if you are ready to fly with the leaders then fasten your seat belt with the leader to be a leader.
