A warm greeting and NAMASTE to all. I, Diksha Singh, GWDD (2nd Sem) student have been sharing my experiences through blogs. This time I en marked an experience like no-other, and was really touched so thought of sharing it with you all through this digital medium.Hope you all will like it too, so ” Is alag experience ko janne k liye, mere sath bane rahe”.If you missed my first blog check in the link below:

The quality of life is determined by activities, and our beliefs are the invisible ingredients in all our activities. For a GWDDIAN monthly activities is a medication which we need to take once in a month, so that we can carry out with our upcoming work load, and refresh our mind.

This time we chose a different topic to work on- “KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS” Kargil Vijay Diwas, celebrated on July 26, commemorates India’s victory and honors the war heroes .On this day in 1999, the Indian Army successfully took control of posts at a treacherous high altitude and glaciated terrain across the Himalayas in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, after fighting for 60 days.

More than 500 soldiers from Indian Armed Forces sacrificed their lives during the war. Well, this was in brief about the Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Now let us see how my GWDD family executed the activity. As before all of us gathered in our Pinocchio lab by 9:10 AM, and we started unwrapping our props and bags. All of us already had a planning sheet with us according to which we all were supposed to proceed. I was handling the craft part, and was coordinating members for the same. My team mates were busy with their respective works. After working for an hour, we got our “chai-break”. All of us had chai and samosa. After a revival of 20 minutes, we got back to our work. After a few minutes, our alumni Shah Alam bhaia joined us, and this was a really great surprise .After few minutes, when all of us were busy with our respective works MAHAGURU , Mr. Ramesh Kumar Ruia Sir came inside our room, and shared the reason why we celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas. After hearing the story, we were emotionally moved and again got back to our work. The clock struck 14:00 PM, and it was our lunch time finally. We completed our lunch together and resumed our works again. We were left with lots of work, and hours passed like seconds.

We still managed to complete our activity by 5:35 PM. It was one of the best works we ever did.

All of us went down for its final installation. After installation a group picture was taken. For all of us this activity was a “zara sa hatt ke” type. It was a dedication to all those brave INDIAN JAWANS, who sacrificed their life for our nation.Patriotism is our conviction that this country is superior to all other countries because we are born in it. So, this activity was a small tribute to all those gallant soldiers, who sacrificed there life for us, for our nation, from Arena Animation, Park Street, GWDD students. At the end I would just like to say that- “Let Us Together Commence a Journey of Peace, Harmony, and Progress”.

” Confidence comes from discipline and training. “

Hello readers! I am back again with another experience of seminar & workshop based on job placement & interview I recently attended on 14th July 2018, Saturday. Speaking of seminar, you might be thinking I had gone through lots of lectures. Well only one way to find out. So, let’s get started !

If you haven’t checked my last blog click in the following link:

I was very much excited about this seminar & workshop to happen while it started with a bang by our mentor SINGHAM  (Sir Somnath Chakraborty ) kept a bundle of suspense in some pieces of folded paper including an interview trial. We weren’t that much scared nor excited. We all were secretly whispering to figure out what’s going to happen.

The first half of seminar started with the importance of interview and what we should follow to get placed. There were many important things like behavior and mind set I have to set if I want a job. There were many common things we really don’t follow in order to lead a comfortable life. But what is it? That’s like cutting out my own branch I am sitting on it. I really like learning something with fun and interactively. Guess what, this was the perfect seminar for me.

” It’s not just about ideas, it’s about making ideas happen. Do it!!! “

The second half of the seminar was interview session. We were called and gave trial of an actual interview that we will face in the job interview. By this session we really felt we are still not enough whether it’s small or big mistakes we can’t answer. Answering questions wasn’t the real motive of acting in the interview it also includes our body language and our voice tones. Interview is not a piece of a cake whether you are confident in your theory or practical. It includes your 360-degree performance judged by interviewer that you are fit for the job or not.

” My attitude, not my aptitude determines my altitude.

In between the seminar we got a surprise visit of our MAHAGURU (Sir Ramesh Ruia). He started with his advisory session with great suggestions and importance on job interview. It was very informative how he really explained the process he has gone through and some of his experiences. He really made some of the things very clear to us which gave an extra advantage to this seminar.

Check our moments in this seminar in the link below: –

At last but not the least bundle suspense exposed without guessing about it we were divided into 5 teams to give machine test. We were being assigned tasks along with respective team members. We were given a limited time to finish tasks. We were nervous but we worked together as different teams to execute the tasks. This Machine Test was an important lesson for me to check technical skills that includes the work pressure, planning and the deadline of the product.

   ” Imagine – Invent – Inspire “

Check out the video of our workshop in the link below: –

This was a memorable seminar for me and also a desirable experience working together with classmates. After this seminar and workshop, I am transforming myself from the one I was before.

” Whatever the mind can conceive & believe it can achieve. “

“Bimari se dar nai lagta sahab, GWDD class miss karne se lagta hai”

dik

Hello readers, I am Diksha Singh from GWDD , 2nd sem of Arena Animation, Park Street, writing my second blog to share my experience with you all and it’s been 6 months since I started my GWDD 2nd semester.  If you missed my first blog check in the link below:

https://arenaps.wordpress.com/2018/05/18/tum-hi-ho-bandhu-sakha-tumhi/

My work has made an important contribution in my life. It has shaped me into a punctual and disciplined person. Within a few days i got addicted to my work. I have been a regular student in 2nd semester, but “honi ko kon taal sakta hai ?“. I was attacked by a health issue, and i was not allowed to work for long hours by the doctors. Since then each moment passed like a day. I was advised by doctor to take absolute rest for two weeks. Though i was very delighted that the case didn’t turned out to be a serious one but my conscience for my work was in equal proportions. I always used to think about my days at Pinocchio lab, which increased my urge to work and get well as soon as possible. I was missing my important classes, the lessons which were taught during the class premises. The most troubling thing was that, I was unable to get my work approvals, which is really important for me to get ahead with my course.

Within those two weeks, i realized the importance of my work. I was in touch with the regular activities taking place inside my room, through my batch mates , during my absence. During my illness, my mentor, Somanth Chakraborty Sir, was a supporting figure, and so were my batch mates. After a few days of rest i felt revived and my enthusiasm reached its zenith when i realized that i would be continuing with my work soon.

On the last day of my recovery i got acquainted with the fact that i can’t live without my work. Working gave me satisfaction and always keeps me away from the chaos of day to day life. I find peace in working. Moreover, I feel very relaxed and satisfied whenever i think that my decision of pursuing with this course is turning out to be the most fruitful one.

When I was at home during my illness, i use to plan about how to recover all the classes which i was missing, I made a planning sheet, and listed all the important things which was important for me to learn and complete. I became more determined and dedicated towards my class and career.

Conclusively, this was a bad experience which made me realize that how much my work means to me. Whenever i remember those days, it brings shiver down my spine.

Sumaiya Rahman, GWDD(2nd Sem), Arena Animation, Park Street.

I, Sumaiya Rahman, am a student of GWDD(2nd Sem) and my small world in Arena Animation, Park Street was limited in the Pinocchio Lab (our classroom) until the institute planned an activity based on FIFA World Cup, 2018.

Before going any further, I would like to say that this blog is not to hurt any individual; this is purely what I felt as a student of APS. Stay till the end to share a part of my experience.

The activity was all about craft and painting where every student contributed according to their capabilities.

It was just another activity like GWDD(2nd Sem) monthly activities (have a look at our previous activities here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=179172706238564&set=oa.1562464103877118&type=3&theater&ifg=1 | check our video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4zwKMtQFh0&t=198s ), nothing special about it, students doing craft works, others painting, teachers guiding, casual-usual-normal. If you are thinking this, then you are WRONG! THIS WAS A SPECIAL ONE. This was a learning session for all of us. This was a genuine, perfect collaboration of the students of Arena Animation, Park Street.

The activity started on the first working day of the week and continued that whole week. I joined the team a day later, early morning and started working on the background of the miniature football field that was in progress. Along with me was other students.

Being from the same course they all knew each other very well while momentarily I felt confused. The coldness in the ambience was difficult for me to tackle in the beginning. An approach to start a conversation seemed to be an impossible task. All the boys out there, now I understand your problem.. I guess it is all about striking a conversation with someone you don’t really know, and here gender doesn’t matter. Eventually I started asking them about the work done the previous day. Slowly and gradually topics flooded in and we kept talking. When the image was kept in front of us, we all shared our respective ideas to execute. But the first thing I concluded was to have a rough planning of the whole project handed over to us. That was the time when the ice finally broke and we all became a proper team.

Co-ordination was a big problem at first since we all were newly made team, unaware of each other’s way of working and nature. Also, the ideas or the planning done to execute the project seemed to fail one after the other. After discussion we agreed on a common solution and started working on it.

We all have heard “Slow and steady wins the race.”

But here we had to be fast and steady which was a tricky job. It was as if the time has decided to run faster than ever, taking out all it’s grudge on us, the innocent people.

One thing that I learned is “back-up”, whether that be objects or man-power. There were times when I wanted to shout at people because of their behavior. Few experiments didn’t turn out to be as I expected. Other team members were panicking because of blunders made by the rest. But instead I decided to keep myself and them calm, discussed with them and found out a solution. The saying “every problem has a solution” saved me that day.

The week acted as a mirror to me, showing me my loop-holes, weaknesses and strength. Along with working the whole time, I could also evaluate myself, giving me a scope to add the missing factors to become a 360 degree professional. Time-management, man-management, proper instant planning, dealing with the unexpected troubles, and lots more are now added to my bucket list of improvement.

Never the less, the week had been one of the most joyful, jolly, interactive, and not less than a festival for the whole institute. Now when I look at the project kept on the table in third floor, hall room, all those giggles and gossips, shouting and laughing, planning and painting, finding and managing comes to me as a flashback of golden times of one’s life. We, Arena Animation, Park Street students would love to encounter such an activity in future where the main motive is to build memories and relations. This year, FIFA World Cup 2018 has united APS.

Well, alas! If there is one person whose presence felt to be mandatory to me was our very own Singham (our mentor Somnath Sir).  That one day showed me how much we became dependent on him, his scolding and his threatening to make us complete our work in time. Somewhere, his presence would have refined our quality of work, saving us the time and resources we wasted.

But then, a true mentor set the soldiers free when they are ready for the war.

Here is a sneak-peek of our activity..

Digital Marketing:”Swagat Nahi Karoge Aap Humara..?”

sumi-img

Sumaiya Rahman, 2nd Sem, GWDD, Arena Animation, Park Street

Hi friends! Sumaiya Rahman, GWDD(2nd Sem) is back with a hot topic this time. By my last blog (check out my last blog here:

https://arenaps.wordpress.com/2018/05/07/ek-chhoti-seminar-ki-keemat-tum-kya-jano/   ) you all know that we often attend “Zara  Se Hatke” seminars. Last month all  2nd  semester GWDD students were fortunate enough to attend such a seminar conducted by Ramesh Ruia Sir, our Center Head

( To know more: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=182674505888384&set=oa.1568974669892728&type=3&theater&ifg=1  ). But this seminar had an impact so strong that I changed my mind. Oh yes! You read it right, I changed my mind and updated from GWDD to GWDD PLUS. The most surprising thing is other candidates in our batch did the same. Why do you think one seminar can make us change our course ? Every other student was in the same suspense when we all took the stand together to update our course from GWDD to GWDD PLUS. Questions were asked and we were told to think twice before taking the drastic step, consult with our guardians and inform some other time.

Well, the seminar opened a new dimension for us, a hidden world we didn’t know existed. So now we have enrolled for “GWDD PLUS”. Let me first speak about the latest features of this. It includes everything from GWDD along with other new hot topics. But the main topic which acted as a black hole for us is “Digital Marketing”.

GWDD already gave us the scope to work in different fields as Web developer, Web Designer, Graphics Designer and lot others but Digital Marketing enlarged that field beyond our imagination. Now we can be SEO Consultant, SEO Specialist, Digital Marketeer, Content Management System Specialist etc. The terms are new for us, had to go through a bit of difficulty to understand the meaning but never the less that made it even more exciting.

Previously, having no idea what it is or how beneficial it can be for my near future I never paid much heed to it in the past. My planning was all set. After the end of July (when my course finishes) I would prepare myself for interviews and would try my luck. After that, a peaceful job life… No more assignments, no more home tasks. But as we know, “Man poses God disposes”. Seems like I will have to spend more time  in Arena Animation, Park Street, 3rd floor, Pinocchio lab .

After knowing what digital Marketing is, I won’t mind staying longer. Rather, I would love to. Marketing is the most important part of any business, whether small or big doesn’t matter. Any new invention and only proper marketing can make that invention famous or useful for general citizens, any new product launch needs marketing, and I can keep giving such examples where we need marketing. In the recent days things are turning digital, whether it is Aadhar Card, Ration Card, college application forms or bank works. Internet has given us a comfort zone and decreased our efforts more than 50%. I won’t be wrong if I say that more than 70% of people around the world are dependent on internet. And thus, there came a turning point in the methodology of marketing. That is turning digital too. It gives better scope to the business to interact with the right audience in the right time and location making the whole system more efficient.

I remember after the seminar when all of us exclaimed that the session was really interesting and helped us learn a lot , Ramesh Ruia Sir said, “This was nothing, this was just the tip of the iceberg”. It hit my mind hard and forced me to think “Then how will it feel like to actually explore the iceberg?” And I made up my mind to go for it and give it a try. Yes problems came up. But I knew that if I invest now I will get the return for the rest of my life. Good things aren’t easy to achieve, thus giving me the motivation to stick to my decision and get past those hindrance on my way.

Though the classes haven’t started yet, the fact that soon we will be landing on the iceberg is enough to bring a smile of excitement.

Well.. Digital Marketing is the new hot gossip or point of discussion or point of attraction, whatever you want to call it. I have tightened the seat belt and prepared myself for the ride.. Because my friend…

The Show is about to begin…

“ Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi ”

diksha“ Tum Hi Ho Bandhu, Sakha Tumhi….. ”

Hello readers, I am Diksha Singh from 2nd semester of Arena Animation, and it’s been 3 months since I started my GWDD 2nd Semester. I am writing this blog to share my experience with you all.

Life is a journey, Not a destination. We really can’t describe this journey by only one or two words .Ye “LIFE” na ek mixture hai.. . A mixture of happiness and sadness, success and failure , encouragement and frustration, relief and sorrow, and struggle and giving up. Now obviously life’s journey is not PERFECT, but is beautiful.

Everyone takes every step in a very unique way. Though this unique way results into something disastrous at times . Ye unique banne k chakkar mai we take bumpy roads. This is exactly what i did, after completing my B.Com final year. Without having full knowledge about a course i got myself admitted to GWDD course in Arena Animation Park Street. First 8 months were like “Makhann”(butter)- .

Fir 8 months k bad ek turn aya … jo tha hamara 2nd Semester. I was having a bit of idea about the faculty who was supposed to take our web classes but on the very first day of introduction class I realised and cursed myself for just having that so called “Bit of” knowledge. I entered in the class and wished my new teacher- SOMNATH SIR a very good morning, and then sat like a good girl in front of him on the chair. One by one everyone came in, all of us had some expression on our faces, but i noticed that SIR was sitting quietly on his chair with a pale face, and yes that was a “DARAWANA EXPRESSION”. Soon he began to take our introduction class. We all felt motivated and learnt that in “PINOCHIO LAB” seriousness is the only key to success ,or to be more precise ” The only way jo life mai hume kuch acha kar sakte hain “. The time was passing on but the introduction class was not ending. Me and my batch-mates were getting impatient and were talking to each other via expressions. The introduction class got over by 5 pm that day. We all got a trailer of our 8 months ahead journey after just one class.

Days came by and all of us who hardly stayed for 1.30 hours in a class, now started spending our whole day in this lab. In starting it was really hard to sit calmly at one place and work for the whole day. But gradually it became a habit for all of us. We all became family and it happened just because of our mentor Somnath Sir. The person who entered into our life as “HITLER”, taught us the real aspects of life.

He says ” he is rude, rowdy, rowdiest person”, and yes he might be the rowdiest person i ever faced in my life but, also he is the person who gave a meaning to this line “Haste-Haste kat jae Raste”. We have completed our 4 months journey sath mai  ” HASTE –HASTE “ and believe to spend the rest months likewise…
