This too shall pass

Hello Readers, my name is Yukta Modi. I am pursuing Graphics, Web Design and Development- plus (GWDD+ – 1st semester) from Arena Animation, Park Street.

This is my first blog ever. In this blog I would like to grab your attention towards bright side of this pandemic and how people should be spending their time during this lockdown period due to Covid-19 pandemic to avoid stress and anxiety.

13th April, 2020 – Today when I’m writing this, the official lockdown is till 30th April, 2020. Since the numbers of Corona patients are soaring up drastically, nobody believes the government is going to lift off the lockdown anytime soon. Almost everyone is going through a rough phase and finding it challenging to deal with the abrupt change in their lifestyle.

Everyday we are flooded with the news about the negative impacts of Coronavirus. So, allow me to make you look at the bright side of it.

  1. Spend Quality time with family

I used to spend majority of my time in college or doing my tuition work. If you are like me who used to spend a significant part of your time in office or at work, it is a perfect chance to make it up to your family. Now that you are presented with the opportunity to stay at home 24/7, you can make it enjoyable.

  1. Do what you love

“You can either choose to spend every day like a Sunday or like a Monday.”

I’m lucky to keep myself engaged with the help of the online classes that Arena Animation have been conducting thrice a week. I’ve always loved doodling and painting and now I have time to do that as well. To all those people who used to make excuses about not having enough time to do what they love, now is the time. Cook new dishes, learn new languages, learn instruments, write blogs, paint, exercise and the list goes on and on. I’d like to share with you all my artworks that I made during this lockdown period.

  1. Read good books and novels

Reading books is a habit of the highest standard. It expands your intellectual ability and multiplies your wisdom. The more you read, the more your perception gets clearer, and the more you gain knowledge. This is will help you to exercise your mind and come out of the lockdown as a wiser and better version of yourself.

  1. Use internet to your maximum benefits

Instead of scrolling through the Covid-19 memes, you can use Internet to your advantage. The internet is one of the coolest things you can take advantage of during the current situation. If you have a good internet connection, YouTube is a great platform to spend time while learning new skills and techniques.

  1. I can finally hear birds chirping

Take a minute to go out on your balcony and answer my question with honesty. Did you ever observe Mother Nature like this before? If you’re honest, the answer should come “NO”. Air and water in the rivers are getting cleaner, blue skies are now visible across cities and you can finally hear birds chirping. Let me give you a fun fact that will show you the positive ecological impact of this lockdown :-

A scientist from Stanford University has done a research regarding the falling PM 2.5 levels (particulate matters, one of the major reasons of air pollution) and concluded that Coronavirus lockdown likely saved 77,000 lives in China in just one month by reducing the pollution level.

I’d like to conclude by saying that please make the most of your time during Corona Virus (Covid-19) Lockdown. Stay positive and use the time for productive activities to enhance your skills. Do not lose hope.

Storms don’t last forever and like every other storm, this too shall pass.

TAKE A STEP TOWARDS FAITH

Chandrika_Image

Greetings to my viewers.

Hey, everyone!

Let me introduce myself, I am Chandrika Adikary pursuing GWDD (Graphic Design and Web Development) 2nd semester in Arena Animation, Park Street.

This is my first blog where I will be sharing my experiences related to our recent seminar attended by me. It has been a life-changing lesson for me. Each day I learn something new and interesting and this time I came through a new topic which was “LEAP OF FAITH”.

The seminar took place on 14th December, 2019 in “Thor Lab” with all the GWDD, GWWD+ & DADM students of Arena Animation, Park Street. This is known to be the most valuable seminar for those students who are willing to make their career.

According to the topic , “Leap of Faith” is to believe in something uncertain. And if you take a “Leap of Faith”, you do something even though you are not sure it is right or you will succeed. So, take a Leap of Faith and trust them. The seminar was conducted by our mentor, Mr. Somnath Chakraborty Sir. He has a different personality and doesn’t believe in traditional teaching method. And that’s why he has started training us for the industry, where we have to show our skills.

The seminar started with Mr. Ramesh Ruia Sir’s speech, which motivated us from inside. He shared his personal industrial experiences with us. Through his speech we received many positive vibes. Thank you sir for taking such initiative towards us.

Then the seminar was continued by our very own Somnath Chakraborty Sir. This man is a real genius; he knows how to build a student’s career. Through his lectures he made the students aware about the do’s and don’ts in an interview. He arranged an interactive session, where he asked us to question him, and he gave all the answers in such a manner that made us believe in ourselves. This session also taught me about the importance of Faith, which one has to keep on the mentor to achieve their goal. Sir told us Leap of Faith is not an easy thing, and once you start following it you can’t take your step back. In short, one can keep their faith on someone whom they trust, as it is not an easy process to reach the final goal.

Sir always encourages us to work like a team and trust me guys on the seminar day I came to know what a real team work is called. By the end of the seminar sir arranged two interesting games for us where we were divided into two teams. And that moment taught us the value of bonding. The game had a valuable effect towards everyone because through this entertainment Sir made us recognize the actual meaning of Faith. After attaining this seminar I got very much serious about my career. Such a brainstorming session is an ultimate need for every generation.

Thanks to our respected mentor Somnath Sir who made us explain our worth. Would also like to thank Mr. Ramesh Ruia Sir who gave me this platform where I am getting to learn so many things and also providing us with a lot of opportunities.

Well that’s all for today. Will try to return with some more experiences. Hope you all get motivated through my blog. Thank You.

The Memorable Seminar

IMG20190425134909

Hello readers!

I am Suchona Nandi  pursuing GWDD+ 2nd semester in Arena Animation Park Street. This is my second blog about my first ever seminar attended in Arena Animation Park Street. The theme of the seminar was the “ Leap Of Faith”. The meaning of Leap Of Faith is an act of believing something that is not easily believed. The seminar took place on 14th December,2019 from 1 pm. The students of  GWDD, GWDD+, DADM, & PP(Print & Publishing) participated in the seminar.

Mr. Ramesh Ruia sir gave an introduction speech. He told us the story behind the theme. He shared his own real-life story about a teacher he had in school. That teacher was a gymnastics teacher, who used to make the student jump through a fire ring. He conducted that act for many years, but not a single student ever got hurt. This is because the teacher was reliable and the students used to trust him blindly. This is what leap of faith is when one person can believe another person and do some unbelievable act.

Then Mr. Ramesh Ruia sir told was that he want our Arena Animation Park Street to be a center of excellence so that the student can be fit for every job they get. The thought which pulls us back and does not let us achieve success is that we think we are learning software only. Whereas this should be on our mind that we are learning Graphic Designing or Web Designing with the help of some software. The main thing that sir told us, again and again, is that we need to have a leap of faith on our mentor, this will be the first key to open the box of success. He ended his speech by saying that the students need to work hard, create a center of excellence, and take a leap of faith to achieve his/her goal.

Then our mentor Mr. Somnath Chakrabarty sir came, and he told us that he will divide the proceedings into four parts. The first part was, the students need to ask questions to sir about jobs and interviews and any kind of technical questions. So we all asked questions to sir about every doubt we had regarding interviews and jobs. The second part was more or less the same as the first part, but there was something more, which sir discussed with us. Sir showed us the body language we need to maintain while we are going for an interview. He also showed us what we should not do in an interview. Then he told us how we should be prepared mentally and be confident but not overconfident. The third part of the event was all about the leap of faith agreement. Leap Of Faith Agreement is an agreement where a student needs to take an oath that he/she will take the leap of faith  and will complete his/her work. Then sir selected 5 of our seniors who are capable of taking the Leap Of Faith agreement. The last part of the event was the most interesting one. Sir arranged for two games which were full of fun and lesson. The first game was, there were two teams, one of the team members was blindfolded and a few paper cups were placed on the floor in front of her in a very haphazard manner, and the blindfolded person had to cross the cups without touching it. The directions were given by the leader of the team.  This is a very easy example of a leap of faith because it showed that a blindfolded person had to put each and every small step with the leader’s instructions, and if she does not listen to the leader then she will never be able to achieve her goals.  The next game was with balloons, where two different teams were made, and between each member, a balloon was kept. Now everyone had to move slowly so that not a single balloon falls. This showed that in a team project, every member’s contribution is very important, and if any one fails, the whole team will fail.

As much we enjoyed the game,we learnt very good and effective lessons too. This seminar will always be a very memorable one for me because it taught me a lot of things that will help me to grow and achieve my goals. I am very glad to be a part of this seminar.

Thank you for reading this blog. I will come up with more blogs & Vlogs, so till then you can follow me on:

Hello readers! I am Suchona Nandi pursuing GWDD+ 2nd semester in Arena Animation Park Street. This is my very first blog. I always wanted to write a blog, but never got much confidence to write one.

So here I am writing this blog about the  of welcoming freshers to the Thor Lab.

On 27th November , my 1st Semester was completed and from 3rd December my 2nd semester started with Mr. Somnath Chakrabarty sir. On 10th December, 2019 we were said to be present at 12 pm. Exactly at 12, we were asked to get inside the Thor Lab and we were welcomed by the seniors clapping and saying “Welcome to Thor Lab”. Our mentor Mr. Somnath Chakrabrty sir gave a small introduction speech and then introduced us one by one with the seniors. Then he introduced the seniors with us.

The seniors took the initiative to start the orientation. They asked us about our experience in 1st semester, and how much we are enjoying the new class. Then they told us  about their experiences with sir and what we should do and should not do in class .The seniors were so friendly and loving that we felt very comfortable to share our thoughts with them. They were very much inspiring. They even gave us gifts as a token of love. We also got to know about the activity that takes place every month. They showed us the videos they have made as  activity work and shared how much they enjoyed doing those. We enjoyed a lot with the seniors. Even an alumni visited the orientation for us . She is soo great that she talked about her experiences, when she was  a student. She is also  an inspirtion to us.

The day ended with lots of laughter and fun. This will always be a memorable day for me. I can’t thank enough to the seniors and our mentor for arranging such  lovely orientation day. I feel very overwhelmed to be a part of Arena Animation Park Street

Ye Haseen Lamhe

Shivani_Poddar_Profile_Pic_2

Hello readers, I am Shivani Poddar. I am pursuing Digital marketing and advertising (DADM 2nd Semester)  from Arena Animation, Park Street.

This is my first blog.In this blog i would like to narrate my experience from not knowing anyone in the institute to making so many friends in my very first week of the second semester.

In 2nd Semester it was my first day with Somnath Sir  he is called “The Singham” of the institute. I was scared but the way he explained me everything was very supportive and  motivating. After the syllabus discussion he told me about the monthly activity that was going to take place the very next day. He asked my seniors to include me in the activity. I was quite happy to be a part of the activity. My seniors were discussing about the script and even i was asked for ideas. I was also included in the script i was also given a small office scene. First day went very well. Now it was show time the activity day.

The activity day(23.11.2019):

The activity started in the morning all my seniors were very welcoming and enthusiastic. Then came my scene where i had to sit in the office and this way i was a part of the activity. Later seniors had arranged for lunch. The day ended pretty well and it was alot of fun to be a part of the activity. It does not end here i was chosen for a small task and that was editing and assembling the videos. After the work was done all my seniors appreciated me for what i had done.

At the end i would like to say that this one week i had alot of fun and interaction with my seniors. They were the one who made me comfortable and at home.

I will be coming up with more blog and  interesting Vlogs.

Kuch Zaroorate Aisi Bhi

picture2-min

Hello viewers, let me introduce myself before narrating my story. Myself Joyita Paul, student of Arena Animation Park Street, pursuing GWDD(Graphic Design and Web Development) 2ndsemester. I would like to grab some of your attentions towards my blog that am creating for the very first time, hope you will find it interesting while exploring it out.

Although sometimes most of us feels uneasy to pen down our thoughts through words but if you have them, there’s always a chance that you’ll find the way out. But I will try my best to share every single experience of mine related with my second home that is none other than Arena Animation Park Street.

Well am feeling very lucky to get such a platform where one can share his and her thoughts without any kind of hesitation. So, without any further do let’s get started with the purpose behind this blog.Few days have passed since I have started my 2nd semester classes by following the path shown by our mentor Mr. SomnathChakraborty Sir. Every day I learn something new and zara hatke under his guidance. In this blog I will share my experience that I have gained in a recent seminar that we GWDD & DADM students of APS have attended with the subject matter Typography and Blog.

As exciting as the topic the seminar was also a brainstorming one conducted by the two most awesome personalities around Mr. Somnath Chakraborty Sir and our Chetna Mam. Saturday 21st September, 2019 it was when the seminar was scheduled to increase our creativity through their valuable speeches. The seminar was divided into two sessions. The first session was about Typography arranged by Mam and the second one was about Blog taken by our Sir.

The fast session was about Typography where Mam explained us the meaning of it and it’s importance in the life of a Graphic Designer. Mam taught us very simply yet very uniquely, she made us learn about the definition of Typography and it’s origin. During her session she made us aware about the usage of fonts and the colour  theory that we should apply  inour  works and one most important suggestion by her “whenever  you stretch a font somewhere a graphic designer dies.” Really such a beautiful explanation was been delivered by her which made me very much inspired. She also arranged a workshop for us so that we can enjoy her seminar and most importantly so that we may not get bored by hearing her lectures. She made two groups where she gaveus two themes one is Durga Puja and the other one is Christmas then she asked us to create our own fonts according to the given themes, and the winner will win the new version of Silk Cadbury. After hearing the word “Cadbury” everyone got excited and started their works on making the fonts, after few minutes the workshop got over and the winner was announced and was awarded the Cadbury. Trust me I have never came through such lovely seminars till date. And that was how the fast one got ended with beautiful vibes in our heart.

The next session was on Blog hosted by our Singham(Somnath Sir). He is the Singham of APS from Thor Lab.  The ways he makes us teach is very much different than others. He makes things understand to us practically rather than theoretically. He is making us prepared for the industry so that while working  as an employee we will never face any kind of difficulties. Somnath Sir always says that “if you can cross my interview than you can easily cross any other interviews out there. This man is our silent guardian who will never pretend that how much he cares for us, but from inside he is protecting and supporting us. Through his session we came to know what is a blog and what are it’s importance. He advised us how to choose our subjects to write in and what will be it’s contents. He never forces anyone to do something but he only notices the one who has the urge of achieving something. Through his seminar he made us laugh and also made us realise about the importance of GWDD and DADM course  in our  life. That was how he ended. After Somnath Sir, RuiaSir came in to share his thoughts.

Ruia Sir took very few minutes in explaining us the purpose of preparing our Curriculum Vitae. He showed us some examples and told us to prepare our CV’s on time. One most important thing he told us that we must have to complete our portfolios on time, so that it will be easy for us to achieve our dream job.

That was how the seminar day came to an end. All of us got very inspired by such seminar. Well I fell it is never possible to express the entire feeling about the seminar through some limited word stocks as this are the emotions that can never be expressed completely. I feel such seminars are an absolute need for a student’s personal branding. Attending such seminar makes me feel that I have picked the right road to walk on and this road will one day make me reach into my destination. Thanks to APS for arranging such boost up seminars for their students.

I think people who are creative are the luckiest people on earth. I know that there are no shortcuts, but one must keep faith in something greater than them, and keep doing what you love. So always do what you love, and you will find the way to get it out to the world.

That’s all for today, will come back with my next blog filled with many new experiences. Thanks for reading it out.

PEHLI BAAR HAIN JI

blog_image_4

Hello readers. I am Manjyot Kaur. I am pursuing my bachelors in commerce from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata along with my certificate course in Graphics, Web Designing and Development (GWDD, 2nd Semester) from Arena Animation, Park Street.

This is my first blog about my first seminar at Arena Animation. The subject was Typography and Blogging itself. Hence I got the motivation to write this.

The first session was on Typography. Starting from what are pictograms and phonograms to anatomy, every bit of information on it was beautifully explained by our teacher. I never knew about the em-space  and en-space. Various fonts which we incorporated in our graphics are obsolete and some are not even appropriate to use. Answers to some of the questions were known but not most of them. Our teacher had explained each element of the anatomy of any font. I never thought that letters also had anatomy like our human bodies do. The end of the session gave us a feeling of frisson. We had to create our own font. I never thought someone would ever ask me to do that. Somehow we did it and there was one winner like in the every race.

As and when the second session started, we all were eager to know the commonly heard term, ‘Blogging’. I have tried writing blogs before this. However, after the session, I would rectify myself. We got to know about various sites like WordPress and how blogging is a trend these days. The definition of blogging in one line would be ‘sharing your stories online by writing them’. Blogging is a crucial element of digital marketing. As a web development student it is important to know that content is king of any website. Hence this session was crucial for us.

At the end, we were also provided with information about making your curriculum vitae. This was like cherry on the cake.

I believe that gaining knowledge is a continuous process and lessons outside class are very important as we cannot learn about a subject wholly in restricted timings of our classes.

SUDDEN HOW! LIFE BECOMES GET A NEW PHASE

Hi Guys, I am Bhavna Agarwal student of Arena Animation Park Street, Digital Advertising And Digital Marketing(DADM)(2nd semester).This is my first blog through which I want to share my views with you all, about my transition from first phase to birth giving phase(from 1st semester to 2nd semester).

As I was so far from Arena family, I didn’t know how’s the four walls of Arena will treat me if I get enroll myself in this institute.

So, when I got enroll myself in December, 2018, from this time my life has become changed. Guys, I have done B.Tech in computer science from Luckhnow University in 2014. After that I had done my post-graduation i.e., M.B.A in computers and HR in 2016. Actually I have a very distinct story. When I completed my B.Tech, I wanted to get placed in some professional life. I had given many on campus and off campus interviews, some has given me correct evidence and some negate me. But in the end of my B.Tech, I got selected in an interview for a private organization, in Delhi. Then suddenly what happens, my family has been shifted to Kolkata due to business norms. That time I didn’t know anybody in Kolkata as it’s a new place for me. I have never been there before this time.

Suddenly by God’s grace, I got a chance to I enrolled myself in Arena Animation Park Street. Now, I have started to enjoy my course as I was so enthusiastic to know graphics and marketing. In spite of all the academic work, I had learned some extra-curricular activities and to became a part of Arena family. All the time software tools and their working struck to my mind to make me what to do next. When I get free time, practice chases me.

Though I am a house wife, I have to do all home chores. Not all but I do cooking, have to give my sometime to each and everybody, some socializing, my personnel work and all other things which every girl follow after their weddings. In spite of all, it’s my pleasure I am enjoying every needle of this course. I listen my mentors, I involve almost in every activity of APS.

Now my first semester has been completed and I am walking towards my second semester, our seniors have welcomed us with a nice balloon decor in THOR Lab. They were guiding us, what would we have to face in 2nd semester. Seniors told us that you people have to be concentrate on your work because Somnath Sir is very passionate towards his work.

I think, what I did in past it’s not sufficient and I have to build myself strong, reliable and tolerant. Earlier I had learnt tools and techniques but right now, I have to implement them with my great efforts. Now my life has become changed again. Earlier, I was down to earth personality but I have become idealistic.

I thought, I have to substitute myself to become strengthen, patient and passionate one to survive in this adventurous world. My thought process has changed entirely after entering in this dreamy world. Earlier I was introvert but now I am an extrovert. What a wonderful well of knowledge and experience tapping inside me is making me fantastic. And I think there is no greater skill in life than patience.

At the end I’d like to say Life is very short. You never know when it will get change. So, guys do everything in your life whatever you want. Whatever runs in present, opportunities comes in future.

THE NUMBER OF INSPIRING PEOPLE YOU MEET ALL TIME AND THE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES AND ENTHUSIASM TURNS YOUR LIFE AROUND SO MUCH

Perks of being a APS DADM Student

blog image

Hey everyone! I am Meghna Gupta2nd sem student pursuing DADM (Digital Advertising Design & Marketing) course from Arena Animation, Park Street. Along with this I am doing my B.COM  (bachelors of commerce ) from J.D Birla Institute.

I’m very excited to write this blog as it is the first time ever I’m ever writing a blog. My journey in APS has been beautiful and life-changing. Every day I learn something new and interesting. In this blog I will share my experience about the recent seminar I attended in APS on the topic ‘Digital Marketing benefits in GWDD (Graphic, Web Design and Development).

As interesting as the topic, the seminar was also exhilarating. The seminar was held on 21st June 2019, and was conducted at the ‘Thor Lab’. We all know how marketing has evolved globally by going digital and it has become an important part of every organisation. With India going digital more the concept of digital marketing has come into the picture. The seminar was conducted by my mentor, Somnath Chakraborty Sir. He has a different approach and doesn’t believe in teaching theoretically. He makes us understand everything practically and has always been preparing us for the industry. He explained exactly what is digital marketing and what are the different aspects connected to it and how it is useful in every career and why every firm today needs a digital marketer. He often says, “digital marketing is an ocean”, an ocean of techniques.

A firm requires a digital marketer for it’s promotion, brand building and buying and selling of goods efficiently and many other activities. He made us acquainted with the term “SEM” (Search Engine Marketing) and “SEO” (Search Engine Optimisation) which are major parts of digital marketing.

He further explained the various ways to optimise a website and the factors such as text, content, images, videos and inbound and outbound links affecting the rank of website in a SERP (Search Engine Result Page). We also had the honour of having our centre head, Ramesh Ruia Sir to share his knowledge with us, which was extremely useful. He told us how the population is distributed among X,Y & Z generation and how to hit the right target audience using a right digital platform.

He unfolded the importance of ‘content’ in a digital platform. He said, “At the end everything comes back to the content.” He also gave examples from his own life and what role did digital marketing play and also explained the concept of Google Analytics. Both of their discourse on the topic was very engrossing and enlightening.

Between the seminar, we got a break in which we all classmates seniors and juniors really bonded with each other and had a nice time. The day ended with a relaxing chai and samosa session with my seniors and Somnath Chakraborty Sir.

Thank you APS for arranging this captivating seminar. It made feel that I chose a right career for myself by choosing DADM as my course and made me realise the need for a  digital marketer in the society.

Trekking, Masti Aur Abhiyaan, Ek Kahaani Yeh Bhi

Burhan Mullamithawala

Hi everybody! I am Burhan Mullamithawala from 2nd semester, GWDD, Arena Animation, Park Street.

This is my third blog and I would like to share my recent experience of my trekking excursion to Hampta Pass, Manali. This trip was only possible as I had completed my GWDD Project, Bootstrap Project and my Creative Minds Project in time and surprisingly my Sir Somnath Chakrabarty gave me a week for refreshment which I utilized on this trip.

I always admire adventure and like always I wanted to do something different. So I planned a trekking trip to Hampta Pass with my friends a month ago. We contacted Adventure Nation after referring to several travel guides and we found that they had reasonable prices with good traveling experiences.

We started our trip from Howrah Railway Station on 6th June, 2019 by Kalka Mail and reached Chandigarh on 8th June, 2019. From there we proceeded in a car and reached Manali the very same day. As expected, Manali is a dream come true. The weather and atmosphere is something out of a movie. I have been there twice before but every time I go, it always feels fresh.

We enjoyed the next day in Manali, roaming the Manali Mall Road eating 6-in-1 softies and other street food. There was a huge crowd as it was peak season. We went to Himtrek Base Camp in Old Manali from where our trek began. We stayed there for the night in hugely built tents as they had organized an orientation for trekkers to give us guidelines on what to do during our trek. We got to meet new people with whom we would be trekking and they were all excited and enthusiastic for the upcoming adventure which lifted our spirits as well. We started our trek the very next day at 9 a.m. in the morning. We traveled to Jobra in a jeep, some 19 km from Manali. Jobra was at an elevation of 3000 meters. From Jobra we walked around 3 hours to Chika base camp. On the way, we witnessed the scenic beauty of the Western Himalayas, comprising of maple, pine and oak trees. The streams were crystal clear and the water was drinkable. We reached Chika and enjoyed the evening with snacks and snapping the picturesque mountains surrounding it. We stayed the night in tents. The temperatures were pretty cool and the four of us snuggled and slept.

We started our trek next day to Balu ka Ghera which was a 4 hours trek which was at an elevation of 3600 meters. The initial stretch took us through the rocky and icy banks of the river. We actually walked on 3 meters of thin ice which was pretty dangerous as the river was flowing right below it. Soon we started walking through the snowy valleys. As this year it had snowed heavily, we witnessed a lot of snow on our way. As we reached Balu ka Ghera, it started raining heavily and we reached the base camp and crawled inside the tents to keep ourselves dry and warm. The temperatures had dropped drastically due to the rains and it rained almost all day. The temperature had dropped almost to -4°C and we could barely feel our hands and legs. We had to wear warmers and jackets to stay warm and we only came out of our tents for lunch and dinner. As the temperatures were freezing, the four of us decided not to go further for the trek as we didn’t have proper trekking gear and some of us also fell sick. That same night we witnessed a very bad storm that sent chills right in our spines. We decided that we will descend for Manali the very next day as it was not appropriate for us to stay any longer. We discussed with our guide and he obliged and took us down to Jobra base camp.

But we got wet on our way down as it rained all the time and all our clothes were wet. The Himtrek Base Camp sent a car for us for Manali and we checked into a hotel and stayed a day in Manali. While on our way from Manali bus stand, we met the other people in our group and they told us that we took a good decision of leaving Balu ka Ghera early as the weather has worsened the very next night and they had to bear the brunt of the storm.

All in all, the trip was amazing with some life altering experiences. We witnessed all kinds of weather; sunny, rainy, hailstorms and super windy but we were fortunate that we returned home safe and sound. Yes, I regret not reaching the summit of Hampta Pass but this doesn’t stop me from going on more adventurous trips. With proper gear I will one day reach the summit of Hampta Pass and push myself to achieve such limits.

As I am back in my daily schedule, I have resumed on creating my portfolio for my career with all my energy and dedication.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Hoping to share more of my experiences.
