Skydance Media and Spain’s Ilion Team for Animation Fare

Skydance Media and Ilion have formed an animation pact.

New animation tasks are in the works from Skydance Media

Ilion Animation Studios, a dedicated CGI feature animation studio based in Madrid, to develop and produce a slate of high-end animated feature movies and television series.

The slate will begin with two animated feature movies presently in advancement, to be produced in Spain. The first, which will be released in 2019, is being composed by Linda Woolverton (Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent). Still without an official title, it informs the story of Elian, a teenager who comes of age utilizing her magical powers to protect her family when the opposing forces of light and darkness threaten to divide her kingdom. Woolverton will work as a producer on the film alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Ilion’s Ignacio Pérez Dolset and Jose F San Román.

The second animated function film, Luck (working title), is a funny that pulls back the curtain on the millennia-old fight between the companies of all the best and bad luck that secretly impacts our daily lives. Jonathan Aibel & & Glenn Berger (The Kung Fu Panda trilogy, Trolls) are writing the script and will function as manufacturers on the movie, alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Ilion’s Ignacio Pérez Dolset and Jose F San Román.
